As a late comer to yoga I have found the experience to be extremely helpful. At a physical level, I was suffering with two bulging discs at the top of my spine for some time. I have had physio and steroid injections and no doubt they have helped but I literally can’t believe the improvement in my general condition over the past month. I feel the discipline has been a great help for me – starting the day, the routine, with exercise, and awareness has tended to spill over on to the rest of the day. I was conscious of a lack of balance; this has improved as the weeks have gone on. I feel generally much better in myself, more grounded, more aware. After the experience of Covid and its aftereffects, I believe the yoga has been great therapy for me. I realise that I have not mastered the various movements or breathing but I am satisfied that I have made a good start. I would be extremely interested in continuing the classes if you intend going on. I think the “online” works for me rather than having to travel to class. Finally, just to say thanks to yourself for your interest and support. It makes a difference and is very much appreciated.
